The XM1100 Scorpion networked ground munitions system has successfully completed its final government design verification field test at Yuma Proving Ground, Ariz., reports Textron Defense Systems, which builds the weapon.
The demonstration evaluated the Scorpion's ability to detect and track individual and multiple targets, as well as engage vehicle targets.
