Scania Receives Truck Orders From Luxembourg, Swedish Agency

Scania has received a pair of orders from Luxembourg and Sweden for more than 100 defense vehicles, reports the Swedish firm, a global manufacturer of heavy vehicles.
One order with the NATO Maintenance and Supply Agency (NAMSA) covers 31 all-wheel drive Scania G 480 8 x 8 trucks for the Luxembourg army. Thirteen of the vehicles are to be equipped with mine and ballistic protection. Deliveries are scheduled for 2011.
