Saudi Arabia has says it will double its humanitarian assistance to Yemen, reports Al Bawaba News (Jordan).
King Salman announced on Wednesday that his government will donate a total of US$540 million for relief and humanitarian needs.
The Saudis previously promised US$274 million sought by the U.N. The United Nations said the money would be used to "meet the life-saving and protection needs of 7.5 million people" in Yemen, reported AFP.
