Sarkozy To Model Afghan Withdrawal After Obama Schedule

France has indicated it will begin a phased drawdown next month of its 4,000 deployed soldiers, the New York Times reports.

President Nicolas Sarkozy set no timetable or numbers for the withdrawals, saying they would follow a schedule similar to that of the United States.
