Government officials in Berlin say the Israeli navy has been arming its German-built attack submarines with nuclear-tipped cruise missiles, reports Der Spiegel.
The missiles can be launched using a previously secret hydraulic ejection system, said the German magazine.
The German government previously indicated that that it was unsure if nuclear weapons were being deployed on the Dolphin-class submarines.
