Saakashvili Urges More Military Spending, Training, 'Total Defense'

President Mikheil Saakashvili says that Georgia must boost its defense spending and improve training to maintain the country's security, reports Interfax-AVN (Russia).

He ordered the Defense Ministry to focus on defending the nation instead of participating in international peacekeeping missions.
