S. Korean, Indonesian Navies Pledge To Work Together Vs. Piracy

The Indonesian and South Korean navies have agreed to coordinate their efforts against piracy, reports Antara News, Indonesia's national news agency.

The services agreed on Wednesday in Jakarta to exchange information and conduct joint exercises involving engineering and tactical operations to deal with maritime crimes, said an Indonesian navy spokesman.

The need for more cooperation was brought up at the eighth naval talks between Indonesia and South Korea.
