S-97 Prototype Makes Hard Landing In Fla.; Pilots Uninjured

A Sikorsky S-97 Raider high-speed helicopter prototype has made a hard landing during testing at the company's facility in West Palm Beach, Fla., reports Flight Global, citing company officials.
The helicopter was in a hover when it went down on Wednesday, the company said.
Local news images appeared to show the aircraft sitting on a runway with its landing gear retracted.
The two crewmembers aboard the S-97 were unharmed, said Sikorsky.
