Russian T-90 Tanks Will Be Built Domestically Under License

Russian firm Uralvagonzavod recently revealed that it will build a facility in Egypt for the licensed production of T-90S/SK tanks, reports the Tass news agency (Moscow).

Post-sales maintenance and repair facilities for T-90 tanks are also planned for Kuwait and Algeria, noted Uralvagonzavod's 2016 annual report, which was published on July 4.

The T-90S is the export variant of Russia's third-generational T-90 tank. The T-90SK is the command variant.
