Russian Su-35s To Replace Aging U.S. F-5 Fighters

The Indonesian Defense Ministry is going to purchase the Russian Su-35 fighter to replace its aging squadron of U.S.-build F-5E/F Tigers, reports Antara, Indonesia's national news agency.

"We have agreed to buy a squadron of Sukhoi Su-35s from Russia to replace the F-5 Tiger jet fighters," Defense Minister Ryamizard Ryacudu said on Wednesday in Jakarta.
