Russian forces have acknowledged using bunker-buster bombs against Islamic State targets in Syria, reports Russia's Sputnik news agency.
Two BETAB-500 bunker buster bombs, each weighing about 500 kilograms (1,102 lbs), were employed against ISIS on Tuesday, said a Russian military spokesman.
The bombs were delivered by Su-24 Fencer fighter jets, said the spokesman.
