Russian Soldier Killed In Roadside Bombing In Hasakah

A Russian soldier has been killed and three others wounded in an explosion in Syria's northeastern Hasakah province, reports the Tass news agency (Moscow).

On Wednesday, the troops were inspecting a military police patrol route when their vehicle struck an improvised explosive device, the Russian Defense Ministry said.

The blast occurred in the village of Al Asadiyah, in a buffer zone between Syrian and Turkish troops, reported the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (U.K.).
