Russian Plant Tests Batch Of ASW Helicopters

A Russian company is completing tests of the first batch of anti-submarine warfare (ASW) helicopters for the Chinese air force, reports Interfax-AVN (Russia).
The Kumertau Aircraft Production Plant in central Russia has produced the first three of nine Ka-28 helicopters ordered by China, company officials said.
The Ka-28 can be configured for submarine search and attack missions, operating either sonobuoys or anti-submarine weapons.
