A task force from Russia's Pacific Fleet is visiting Vietnam this week, reports RIA Novosti.
The Admiral Tributs destroyer, the Pechenega tanker and a rescue tugboat was expected to dock at Ho Chi Minh city (Saigon) on Friday and stay there for six days, said a fleet spokesman.
The Russian task force is returning from an anti-piracy mission in the Gulf of Aden, where it escorted five convoys of commercial ships, said the spokesman.
