Russian Navy Launches Replenishment Tanker to Baltic Fleet

According to a report by Army Recognition on July 17, 2026, the Nevsky Shipyard launched the replenishment tanker ALEKSEI SHEIN (904) in Shlisselburg on July 14.

The vessel was designed specifically for the Baltic Fleet to support surface ships and submarines operating from Baltiysk and Kronstadt into the North Atlantic and Arctic oceans. The tanker features a full-load displacement of 14,000 tons and an Arc4 ice-class double hull, allowing it to navigate through up to 0.8 meters of ice.
