Russian military police in Syria's Aleppo province have set up observation posts as part of a cease-fire, reports Tass (Russia).
Afrin district in Aleppo province is held by the Kurdish People's Protection Units (YPG), which is part of the U.S.-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF). Rival Free Syrian Army (FSA) rebels, backed by Turkey, are located in the area.
