The Russian Duma has ratified an accord extending Moscow's right to use the military base in Gyumri, Armenia, reports Armenia's News.am.
Ratification took place Friday in Moscow.
The Armenian Parliament ratified the agreement in April.
The new treaty extends Russia's lease of the base from 25 to 49 years, officials said. The accord was signed last August.
Russia will also provide Armenia with modern military equipment.
