Russian-Built Carrier Passes Sea Trials With Flying Colors

Shipyard officials say the Russian-built Vikramaditya aircraft carrier constructed for the Indian navy has exceeded expectations during her sea trials, reports Interfax-AVN (Russia).
The carrier left the Sevmash quay in early June for the trials, reported Russia & India Report.
The carrier is scheduled to sail to the Barents Sea this week to begin flight trials with MiG-29K fighters, said a shipbuilding industry source.
