Russian airstrikes have killed 21 people, apparently civilians, in a town in eastern Syria held by the Islamic State terrorist group, reports the Syrian Observer.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, a monitoring group based in the U.K., said Wednesday's strikes hit the village of Al-Jerzi, which is on the banks of the Euphrates River in Deir Ezzor province.
