Russia Starts New Offensive In Syria, Flying From Med; Regime Drops Barrel Bombs On Aleppo

Airstrikes directed at rebel-held areas of the Syrian city of Aleppo have resumed for the first time in three weeks, says a monitoring group cited by the BBC.
Russia halted airstrikes against Aleppo in mid-October to try to get civilians and rebel fighters to leave.
The Haidariya, Masakin Hanano and Sheikh Faris areas of the city were hit on Tuesday, according to the U.K.-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights. At least three people were reportedly killed.
