Russia Moves To Negotiate Regional Air Defense With Armenia

Russian President Vladimir Putin has ordered his government to sign a joint regional air defense agreement with Armenia, reports the Public Radio of Armenia, citing Russian media.
The proposal calls for the beginning of a regional air defense system in the Caucasus collective security region, according to a document posted on Wednesday.
The Russian defense and foreign ministries were instructed to hold negotiations with Armenia to reach an agreement, reported Tass.
