Russia Fires Hypersonic Kindzhal Missile In Vinnitsya

The Armed Forces of Ukraine said that Russia used a KH-47M2 hypersonic Kindzhal air-to-surface missile on August 7, repose Defence24 (Poland).
Russia commissioned the Kindzhal missile in 2018. Defence24 analysts believe the Kindzhal is an offshoot of the Iskander missile program.
The missile can reach Mach 5 in the upper layers of the atmosphere and travel up to 1,200 miles from launch, meaning the Kindzhal has effectively evaded Ukrainian missile defense.
