Contrary to some speculation, officials with the U.S. Pacific Command (USPACOM) say the United States will not reduce its participation in next year's Cobra Gold exercise in Thailand, reports the Bangkok Post.
The Cobra Gold in 2016 will be a full-scale exercise, said one unnamed PACOM official.
Last month, a preparatory meeting for the drills was postponed, leading to speculation that the U.S. might cancel the exercise with the military-run nation.
