Royal Navy’s Newest Carrier Goes To Sea

The British Royal Navy’s second aircraft carrier has set sail for the first time, reports the service.
The Prince of Wales departed the Babcock Marine Shipyard in Rosyth, Scotland, on Sept. 19 on her way to the North Sea for sea trials.
Once completed, the carrier will sail to her homeport of Portsmouth for commissioning, which is expected by the end of 2019.
The Prince of Wales is expected to reach full operational capability in 2023.
