A flight test of India's indigenous nuclear-capable Prithvi-II ballistic missile failed last week, reports the Press Trust of India.
The missile was unable to take off Friday from the Integrated Test Range at Chandipur on India's east coast due to a technical problem, according to defense sources.
The problem was in the main missile or sub-systems, possibly the launcher, the sources said.
