Rolls-Royce Engine Chosen To Power Frigate

South Korea has selected the MT30 gas-turbine engine made by Rolls-Royce to power a new batch of frigates, reports Defense News.
The Britain-based engine supplier said Tuesday that it had secured an order for what should be a fleet of eight FFX Batch II frigates.
The company said it would not put a value on the contract until the deal is signed next month.
