Rogue FARC Rebels Release U.N. Contractor After 2 Months In Captivity

Government officials in Colombia say dissident FARC guerrillas have released a U.N. contractor who had been held hostage for two months, reports UPI.
Colombian national Harley Lopez was abducted by the rogue FARC rebels on May 3 in the southeastern province of Guaviare while working on a U.N. project to replace illegal coca plants with legal crops.
On Wednesday, officials said that Lopez had been released unharmed and was being sent to Bogota for evaluation.
