Rocket Lab To Launch NRO Satellite

Small satellite launch provider Rocket Lab is set to launch a small spacecraft for the National Reconnaissance Office later this month, reports the Huntington Beach, Calif.-based firm. The launch window for the mission, dubbed NROL-51 “Birds of a Feather,” is currently set to open on Jan. 31, the company said in a Jan. 20 release.
