The Israeli Artillery Corps recently completed a series of tests of a new rocket-detecting radar, reports the Israel Defense Forces.
The Raz system was deployed in southern Israel and demonstrated its efficiency, accuracy and operational ease, according to the military.
A joint test with the Iron Dome interceptor system also displayed significant compatibility between the two systems, officials said.
