Roadside IED Kills German Soldier Near Kunduz

A roadside bomb attack in Afghanistan's northern Baghlan province has killed a German soldier, reports Deutsche Welle.
The improvised explosive device detonated Thursday while the soldiers were patrolling in an armored vehicle south of Kunduz, said a spokesman for the Bundeswehr Operations Command in Potsdam, Germany.
At least five other German troops were reported injured in the blast. Two were said to be seriously hurt.
This was the fourth German fatality in Afghanistan...
