Roadside Bomb Hits Ethiopian Troops

Ethiopian soldiers passing through a village in central Somalia have been hit by a roadside bomb, according to witnesses cited by the Shabelle Media Network (Somalia).
A remotely detonated mine targeted the soldiers early Thursday in the eastern part of the town of Beledweyne, said residents.
Heavy casualties were reported by witnesses, though no official figures have been released.
