Saudi Arabia is considering buying U.S.-made Arleigh Burke-class Aegis destroyers that could be fitted with ballistic missile defense (BMD) capability, reports Defense News.
The U.S. Navy briefed Saudi officials in late May on the capabilities of the destroyers, which would become the most powerful ships in the kingdom's navy.
