The Russian army is experimenting with a new physical training program with a Moscow-based infantry brigade, reports Interfax-AVN.
The new system measures the physical fitness of soldiers on a 100-point scale. It also includes yearly examinations of the readiness of the servicemen, said an army spokesman.
As a result of the new program, physical training periods have also been increased to 60 minutes, five times a week.
