Revised Mission Given To Renamed Battle Group

The Multi-National Task Force-East (MNTF-E) has been officially rebranded as Multi-National Battle Group-East (MNBG-E) among several changes to the Kosovo Force peacekeeping mission, reports the Army News Service.

The new name reflects adjustments to the unit's mission as it becomes more of a tactical reserve force behind the Kosovo police and European Union Rule of Law mission in Kosovo (EULEX) program, said Brig. Gen. Al Dohrmann, commander of MNBG-E.
