Review Justifies Use Of Force Against Flotilla

An internal Israeli review of a commando raid on a Turkish aid ship bound for Gaza faulted the military for not having a backup plan, but justified the use of live fire, the Washington Post reports.
Eight Turkish activists and a Turkish-American were killed on May 31.
"The operation relied excessively on a single course of action, albeit a probable one, while no alternative courses of action were prepared for the event of more dangerous scenarios," the army report said.
