The Pakistani government has appointed a retired general as its ambassador to Saudi Arabia, reports Al Jazeera (Qatar).
On Tuesday, the Pakistani Foreign Affairs Ministry said that retired Lt. Gen. Bilal Akbar will replace career diplomat Raja Ali Ejaz, who had held the post for the last two years, reported the News International (Pakistan).
