The Yantar shipyard in Kaliningrad has concluded the initial testing of a new trials ship for the Russian navy, reports Interfax-AVN.
A second phase will take place in the Black Sea, where the Seliger will be permanently based, said a shipyard spokesman.
After final sea trials and acceptance testing, the ship will be fitted out with additional equipment before entering Russian navy service, he said.
