Research Project Backs Putty That Helps Heal Broken Bones

A Pentagon research project to develop a composite to help soldiers heal from broken bones could be in service in three years, reports National Defense Magazine.

The "putty" material being developed consists of a composite of plastic, silicon, biological molecules and protein.
