Report Details Bio, Chemical Weapons Stockpile

The South Korean government has released a detailed assessment of North Korea's alleged biological and chemical warfare capability, reports the Times of London.

The Defense Ministry informed the legislature that Pyongyang had 5,000 tons of chemical weapons, which is believed to include mustard gas, phosgene and sarin.

North Korea also reportedly maintains biological agents, including cholera, yellow fever, smallpox, typhus, typhoid fever and dysentery.
