The Libyan capital has been hit repeatedly by unusual daytime raids.
NATO warplanes struck Tripoli 11 times during daylight hours on Tuesday, reports CBS News. Most previous raids have occurred at night.
The strikes hit military and "semi-military" installations belonging to the elite Revolutionary and Popular Guards, Libyan officials said.
Residents reported anti-aircraft fire, but no planes were known to be hit.
