Senior military officers in Israel and Turkey have met for talks for the first time since a rift following an incident off the Gaza Strip in 2010, reports the Hurriyet Daily News (Istanbul).
Bilateral relations were frozen in May 2010 after Israeli forces boarded an activist Turkish ship delivering aid and breaking Israel's blockade of the Gaza Strip. Ten Turkish activists were killed in the incident.
