The Royal Australian Navy has been hosting 14 regional naval commanders or their representatives for a conference on maritime security and interoperability, reports the Australian Dept. of Defense.
The inaugural talks in Darwin were intended to enhance international partnerships and share innovative approaches to meeting shared challenges in the Asia-Pacific, the department said.
