Regional Intelligence Base Planned To Monitor Militants In Eastern DRC

The International Conference on the Great Lakes Region (ICGLR) in Africa has decided to establish a military intelligence post in Kasese, Uganda, to monitor militants and rebels in the eastern part of the Democratic Republic of Congo, reports the East African (Nairobi).
Twelve military intelligence officers from all of the countries in the Great Lakes region will be based along the Ugandan-DRC border to monitor the Allied Democratic Forces (ADF) rebel group.
