Refueling, Runway Problems Arise With F-35

Several problems have developed with the variant of the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter preferred by the Canadian military, reports the Ottawa Citizen.

For example, the conventional F-35A model is not compatible with Canada's CC-150 Polaris aerial tankers and the aircraft would not be able to safely land at airfields in the Arctic, officials said.
