Reforms Aimed At Military Suppliers

With an eye on introducing competition, the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) has officially published a list of military equipment suppliers for the first time, reports Xinhua, China's state news agency.
Making the list public is part of a reform effort and will allow civil manufacturers to take part in bids for military orders, said a military official.
