The U.S. Army has taken delivery of the first rebuilt OH-58D Kiowa Warrior scout/attack helicopter from Fort Worth-based Bell Helicopter, reports the Ft. Worth Star-Telegram.
The aircraft is the first of 50 to be produced over the next five years for the Army to replace OH-58s taken out of service because of combat or accidents, said officials.
The helicopter was delivered to 1st Squadron, 6th Cavalry Regiment, at the Corpus Christi Army Depot.
