Three workers from the International Committee of the Red Cross were abducted Thursday in the southern Philippines by suspected Abu Sayyaf terrorists, the New York Times reports.
The kidnapping took place in the town of Patikul on Sulu island, said security officials.
The army is conducting a "hot pursuit" to locate the workers, said a spokeswoman for the military.
The Red Cross workers are an Italian, a Swiss national and a Filipino, according to the Edinburgh Evening News...
