Rebel Leader Rules Out Return To Peace Talks

The leader of a Sudan Liberation Movement (SLM) splinter group has reaffirmed his refusal to join negotiations with the Sudanese transitional government, reports the Sudan Tribune (Paris).
Following a meeting with Prime Minister Abdallah Hamdouk on Sunday in Paris, Abdel Wahid al-Nur said that he does not recognize the government's authority.
In a statement, al-Nur said that he met with Hamdouk in a personal capacity, not as prime minister.
