An exiled Hutu rebel leader accused of committing war crimes in the Democratic Republic of Congo has been extradited from France to the Hague, the BBC reports.
Callixte Mbarushimana, head of the Democratic Forces for the Liberation of Rwanda (FDLR), was arrested in Paris last October and extradited to the International Criminal Court on Tuesday.
The extradition request was approved in November 2010 but the transfer was delayed, noted BNO News.
