Raytheon Wins Production Contract For Naval SM-6 Missiles

The U.S. Naval Sea Systems Command has awarded Raytheon Missile Systems, Tucson, Ariz., with a contract modification for low-rate production of anti-aircraft missiles, reports the Dept. of Defense.
The $182 million contract covers low-rate initial production of fiscal 2011 SM-6 Block I all-up rounds.
The deal includes 59 SM-6 all-up rounds, 35 SM-6 Block I instrumentation kits as well as spare parts and containers.
